Amravati: On the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 10), a Free Health and Diagnosis Camp was organized under the initiative of Sanjivan Social Development Society, with the collaboration of the Maharashtra Homeopathy Doctors Association (Lady Wing). The event aimed to promote women’s health and create awareness about preventive care in today’s fast-paced and stressful environment.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Priya Mohod and Dr. Preeti Verma, alongside many esteemed dignitaries and contributors. Specialized women doctors provided consultations, educating participants about various illnesses, their prevention, and treatment options. The camp also included a health-focused meal for the attendees to emphasize the importance of nutrition.
In addition to health check-ups, the event highlighted the importance of awareness about women-specific issues. The camp was attended by over 50 women who benefited from expert medical guidance and free diagnostic services.
This collaborative effort was supported by several notable individuals, including Sanjay Dive, president of the organization, and Smt. Aruna Dive. Volunteers like Pranjal Joshi, Akansha Agarwal, and others contributed significantly to the success of the program.
The initiative was met with enthusiasm and gratitude from participants, making it a memorable and impactful celebration of International Women’s Day. The organizers announced plans to host similar camps in the future to continue empowering women through health education and care.
